The night began with an inspirational talk
from Dr. Wells. Both Deputy Director Susan
Denny and Director Bill Mc Corkle spoke
briefly to the attending foster parents. There
was plenty of food and drink for everyone.
Ace contributed food along with Dominos,
Chic-fil-a, Coca Cola, and Publix, Cookies
Express, and Lynn Olds. Many community
businesses donated door prizes for both the
children and adults, Maw & Paw Kettyle,
Veranda Day Spa, Plum Yummie Spa, Andy
Lewis Dodge, Carmike Theater, Junction
Lanes, Towery Chiropractics, Ten East
Washington, Orchid Hills, Le Claires Salon,
Cracker Barrel, Longhorn, Lowes,
Wal-Mart in Newnan, Wal-Mart in PTC
and Keith Brooking as well as other personal
donations.
Thank you to Crossroads Church for all the
volunteers, to Coweta County Fair Grounds
for the location and beautiful decorations, to
all the DFCS workers, with a special thanks
to our 2 elves Charlotte Whitlock & Ashley
Mc Elroy. There are so many more friends
and family who all helped put the night
together and help it run so smoothly. . .
THANK YOU!!!
Our hope was for the children to all have a
great time and have an event to look forward
to. There has been so much positive feed
back that we look forward to having another
great year next Holiday Season.

The Christmas was a great success. Thank
you organizers for all the time and energy you
put forth to make that happen. The children
all looked and behaved very well. You are all
very much appreciated

establish our bylaws and create a 6 month
plan. The bylaws still need a little fine
tuning but we hope to have a final copy
available in hard copy and on the website
no later than the end of January. Many
ideas for fund raisers, community projects,
and events for the kids were discussed. A
reminder that the deadline to inquire about
the available board position is Jan 4th ,03.
We will be voting @ the January meeting.
We are also seeking out 2 honorary board
positions to be filled by someone with
outstanding resources and or some type of
legal aspirations to help guide us in many of
our future plans.

many areas are still under construction.
