letters need to be in by Nov. 20, 03 Santa
plans on having all letters answered and
brought to the Christmas party. These letters

The Foster Parents Association will
be participating in this event. Our goal
is to raise public awareness about
the counties need for more foster
parents and local support. We hope
that the association will grow in both
numbers and strength so we can all
pool our resources to better help the
children of our county.
We need approximately 6 volunteers
to walk in the parade holding a
banner and passing out flyers.

Christmas Party !!!
This years Christmas Party will be
Dec. 5th at the Coweta County Fair
Grounds starting at 6 pm- 10 pm.
There will be a buffet style dinner for
the adults and music for
entertainment... so don’t forget your
dancing shoes. While the adults get to
kick up their heels the kids will be
supervised by local youth groups.
There will be age appropriate crafts,
moon walk, movie walk, pictures with
Santa and more... We will also need a
few hands to get food and games set

people in need. The number of
people they can serve is limited to
50 per year, and Coweta DFCS will
not be the only agency making
referrals.
They will be having "Home Town
Day" on Dec. 03, '03 and will be able
to help an additional number of
people that will not count towards the
50. You will need to be referred for
services on "Home Town Day" no
latter than Nov. 21st, 03 by YOUR
CASEWORKER!
Most foster children
under the age of five will
qualify for WIC. WIC
provides specific age
appropriate food items.
