Coweta FPA Newsletter
Be Thankful
Volume 2, Issue 11                            PO Box 72108 Newnan, GA  30271                                   November, 2004

This meeting welcomed two new
members, Steve Sutton and his wife
Lisa. Thanks for your support.
We look forward to seeing you and
hearing how you are doing.

Why should you come to the
meetings?  Well, of course, there is
the obvious of      getting the
training hours.  The information that
is shared is something that can
better equip you as foster parents
to deal with a wide range of
problems and issues that come with
the territory.

Why should you join the Coweta
Foster   Parent’s Association? It ties
you into a      network of other foster
parents others who have walked
that path before and have a lot of
experience and knowledge and
they are there ready and willing to
share. It is the   opportunity to talk
about problems and   resolutions
that are specific to foster parents
and our children.  It offers
camaraderie and the knowing that
you are not alone as you face
daunting challenges that can be
unique to being a foster parent.

Other benefits of the FPA are that
we work through out the year to
participate in events that raise the
community awareness of foster
parenting as well as plan activities
and events that give something
special for our children.
